Acupuncture in South Orange County
Harness the therapeutic power of Traditional Chinese Medicine with Dr. Coleen Murphy, ND, LAc.
Practicing Acupuncture Since 2004
More Than Needles. A Complete System of Medicine.
Dr. Coleen Murphy holds a MS in Acupuncture from Bastyr University and has been practicing acupuncture as part of her integrative naturopathic medical practice since 2004. As a dual-licensed Naturopathic Doctor and Acupuncturist, she brings clinical depth that a standalone acupuncture practice cannot match.
Traditional Chinese Medicine is a complete system of medicine with thousands of years of clinical practice behind it. Acupuncture is its best-known tool, but TCM also includes Chinese herbal medicine, moxibustion, cupping, Tui-Na bodywork, and dietary therapy, all of which Dr. Murphy integrates into a treatment plan tailored to your specific condition.

What Acupuncture Treats
Acupuncture has been validated by the World Health Organization and numerous clinical trials to effectively treat more than 30 specific medical conditions. At Natural Medicine Works, acupuncture is commonly used for:
Dr. Murphy's Clinical Approach
Five Element Acupuncture and Lasting Results
Dr. Murphy draws inspiration from the Five Element school of acupuncture, which goes beyond routine protocols to address psycho-emotional issues, intractable pain, and complex conditions that do not respond to standard treatment.
Combined with Chinese herbal medicine and modalities such as moxibustion, cupping, and Qi Gong, her acupuncture treatments are designed to produce lasting results, not temporary symptom relief.
